Flexible Artificial Stone Panel Manufacturer

Angtai manufactures flexible MCM stone-look panels for decorative wall cladding, not engineered quartz countertops or structural stone. Supplied factory-direct, the thin panels support OEM/ODM customization for distributors, contractors, and architects. Send your application, size, and finish requirements to request a sample or quote.

Confirm the Category Before You Source

Most manufacturers answering "artificial stone" pour cast concrete into molds and hand-tint it to mimic quarried rock — heavy, rigid units installed like masonry. A separate category, engineered quartz, binds crushed stone with resin into thick slabs for countertops.

Angtai's product is neither: it's a thin, inkjet-printed ceramic panel made with water-based, inorganic, non-fired inks — flexible stone, also called soft porcelain or MCM (modified clay material).

Confirming which category you actually need avoids a wasted sourcing cycle. The material's full build is explained in soft porcelain and MCM material, and its fire classification is covered under What Does Non-Combustible Mean?

The flexible-stone subsidiary was established in January 2024 under a parent group founded in 1997 for ceramic pigment manufacturing. The ink and glaze expertise behind Angtai's current inkjet process traces back decades, even though flexible-stone production itself is newer.

The group holds the China Building Materials Science and Technology Progress Award, national high-tech enterprise certification, Guangdong innovative SME and specialized and innovative SME status, along with two invention patents. That production capacity was on display at the China Homelife Indonesia Expo 2025, where buyers evaluated the direct-manufacturing model in person.

Why the Manufacturing Process Matters

Angtai panels are printed, not poured, which is what lets a finished tile conform to curved or irregular surfaces within the specified bend radius — rigid cast concrete and quartz slabs cannot do that.

The flexible stone panel trade-off guide compares that bend capability with wear, fire documentation, and maintenance considerations. This capability matters most for curved wall cladding and other lightweight cladding materials projects where a rigid panel cannot wrap around the substrate.

OEM/ODM & Global Supply

Angtai sells factory-direct with OEM/ODM and private-label options. The company has served more than 2,000 customers and worked with over 25 partners across major domestic markets and export destinations in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Orders are handled through direct factory export and quoting rather than a local showroom network — the same sourcing model international buyers experienced at Angtai Flexible Stone at Marmomac 2025.

FAQ

What's the difference between manufactured stone veneer and flexible stone (soft porcelain)?
Manufactured stone veneer is poured cast concrete, tinted and molded, then installed like masonry with mortar. Flexible stone (soft porcelain) is a thin, inkjet-printed ceramic panel that bends around curves and irregular substrates and is applied with adhesive instead.
Is an artificial stone manufacturer the same as a stone veneer supplier?
Not necessarily. A manufacturer makes the product; a supplier may distribute several brands or materials without producing any of them. Angtai is both — the factory that produces flexible stone panels and sells them factory-direct, with OEM/ODM options for buyers who need private-label supply.
Does Angtai manufacture in the USA, or ship internationally?
Angtai manufactures in China, at its 36,000 m² facility, and exports internationally — serving domestic first-tier markets plus Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other export regions. There's no US production site; sourcing runs through direct factory export and quoting.
What is the best artificial stone for exterior walls?
Evaluate three factors: weight (lighter panels reduce structural load), flexibility (bendable panels can conform to curves and irregular facades within the specified bend radius), and weather resistance (fade, freeze-thaw, and temperature range matter more than material name alone). Flexible stone scores well on all three; rigid cast veneer is heavier and can't wrap curved surfaces.
